It was the same when I worked one-to-one as a therapist. There were times when I suggested that my client was not ready to quit smoking. They weren’t prepared, or even motivated, or motivated in a way that would not guarantee success, or we needed to work on another issue that was more important in their life right now.
I prefer to work with people who are committed to working toward their goal,
people who will take action [that means 20 minutes a day].

That way you KNOW it was YOU who DID IT.
I just know the steps you need to take.
I can provide you with the skills and resources you need.

- Wants a “magic bullet”
- Is not prepared to put in 20-30 minutes a day
- Will not take responsibility for their own health
- Wants to quit smoking for someone else’s reasons.
- Has something more important to sort out first.
If that’s you, I suggest that you take these steps.
- Take the time to get ready to quit for your reasons.
- Read and reflect on the Prepare To Quit Guide
- Find that 20-30 minutes a day for yourself to relax.
- Sort out that other stuff first if it’s more important.
- Come back knowing you are ready.
- Have the success you deserve.
